Plasma algae killer
Mizuken Plasma descaler generates Ozone O3 gas by discharging high voltage into the air, then oxygen O2 becomes ozone O3.
Ozone has the ability to kill bacteria and algae, moss in water sources. Prevent algae from accumulating in water towers and heat exchangers.
Ozone (O₃) is widely used in water treatment due to its strong oxidizing properties. Here are the main applications of ozone in water treatment:
- Water disinfection
- Kills bacteria and viruses: Ozone is a powerful disinfectant, capable of killing bacteria, viruses, parasites and other disease-causing microorganisms faster than chlorine.
- Does not produce toxic by-products: The ozone disinfection process does not leave behind toxic by-products such as chlorine (chloramines, trihalomethanes – THMs).
- Deodorization and taste reduction
- Ozone helps remove unpleasant odors and tastes from water, including odor-causing organic compounds such as phenol, thereby improving the quality of drinking water.
- Removal of organic and inorganic compounds
- Oxidation of organic compounds: Ozone can oxidize and break down organic compounds that are difficult to biodegrade (such as pesticides, pharmaceuticals, and other difficult-to-degrade chemical compounds).
- Removal of heavy metals: Ozone oxidizes heavy metals (such as iron, manganese) in water into insoluble forms, making them easier to remove through filtration.
- Wastewater treatment
- Decompose pollutants pollution: Ozone can break down complex organic substances in wastewater into smaller, easier-to-treat molecules.
- Color treatment: In the textile dyeing industry or other industries, ozone can oxidize colorants, helping to reduce the color of wastewater before it is discharged into the environment.
- Applications in industries
- Swimming pool water treatment: Ozone is used to disinfect water in swimming pool systems, helping to maintain clean water without irritating the skin and eyes like chlorine.
- Bottled water treatment: Ozone is used to ensure that bottled drinking water is free of bacteria and harmful substances while still retain the natural flavor.
Due to its strong oxidizing ability and leaving no toxic residue, ozone is increasingly preferred in modern water treatment applications.
